Southern Hill Farms - Blueberries

Welcoming you to be a part of our family tradition. Southern Hill Farms welcomes you to experience all that Orlando agriculture has to offer! Come spend a day with family and friends outside in Central Florida's beautiful spring weather picking blueberries on our farm. We open our blueberry u-pick to guests during the months of April and May when the berries are at the peak of their ripeness. It is a great educational experience for children, as well as a way to build excellent family memories. We would love to host your company, church, sorority or fraternity, or any other group for an active retreat. Please check our page regularly before and during the blueberry u-pick season for current rates and weather related closures.

Directions to Southern Hill Farms


From Orlando:

Take the 408 (toll) West to Florida Turnpike North. In one mile take exit 267A (Florida 429 Toll south) towards Tampa. Go 7 miles to exit 15 (New Independence Pkwy). At stop sign turn right, go ½ mile. Turn left onto CR 545 or Avalon Rd. Go 1 ½ miles, take a right onto Schofield Rd. Go 2.8 miles, Southern Hill Farms will be on the right. Turn into double gate in the middle of the farm.


From Lakeland:

Take I-4 East to Florida 429 Toll North. Go 11 miles, take exit 11 (Seidel Rd). At stop sign turn left, go ¼ mile. Turn right onto CR 545 or Avalon Rd. Go 2 miles, turn left onto Schofield Rd. Go 2.8 miles, Southern Hill Farms will be on the right. Turn into double gate in the middle of the farm.


From Clermont:

Traveling Hwy 27 S, go 5 ¾ miles past SR 50 (Clermont). Turn left onto Schofield Rd. (There is a large radio tower on corner of Hwy 27 and Schofield. Schofield Rd is one mile past Lake Louisa intersection on Hwy 27). When on Schofield Rd go 3.7 miles, Southern Hill Farms will be on the left. Turn into double gate in the middle of the farm.


From intersection of I-4 and Hwy 27 (Davenport):

At Interstate 4, take Hwy 27 N 9.1 miles to US 192 E. Turn right onto US 192 E, go 1 ½ miles. Turn left onto CR 545 (Avalon Rd). Go approximately 7 miles, turn left onto Schofield Rd. (Schofield Rd will be ½ mile past the entrance to Orange County National Golf Course). Go 2.8 miles on Schofield Rd, Southern Hill Farms will be on the right. Turn into double gate in the middle of the farm.

Alternate route from Hwy 27 and US 192:
On Hwy 27N, go 8 miles past US 192. Turn right at Schofield Rd (clay road with large radio antennae on right at corner of Hwy 27 and Schofield Rd). Go 3.7 miles on Schofield Rd. Southern Hill Farms will be on the left. Turn into double gate in the middle of the farm.
