Southern Hollywood Film Tour

Peachtree City may be a long way from Hollywood, but the film industry has made the trip!

Peachtree City proudly shares in the claim to fame of the hit television series Drop Dead Diva. Our picturesque city can also be spotted in high-budget films, such as Sweet Home Alabama, starring Reese Witherspoon, and Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton. With everyone from directors and actors to stunt people and makeup artists moving and working here, the community is fast becoming the new Hollywood Hills!

There’s no telling who you may run into when taking the Southern Hollywood Film Tour! Celebrity sightings are becoming more frequent with stars like Zac Brown, Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Zoe Saldana, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Ashton Kutcher and Shia LaBeouf continually keeping our city in the spotlight!

On this tour, you will travel the backroads from Peachtree City to Haralson and Senoia to see filming locations for numerous movies and television shows, including The Walking Dead, Fried Green Tomatoes, Drop Dead Diva and Sweet Home Alabama. You also will learn about all the different productions filmed at both Pinewood Atlanta Studios (Ant-Man, Passengers, Captain America: Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2) in Fayette County and Riverwood/Raleigh Studios (The Walking Dead, Killers) in Senoia.

Tours can be customized with stops at The Woodbury Shoppe in Senoia, the prop shop in Haralson, and/or for lunch at Nic and Norman's, Katie Lou's Cafe or the Senoia Cafe (aka Woodbury Cafe) in Senoia or Hanna Brothers Studio Cafe in the Pinewood Production Center across from Pinewood Atlanta Studios.
