The concept for Southern Steer Butcher began years ago. Growing up in New England, business partners Dave LaGree and Eric LaFleur enjoyed having several quality butcher shops in their hometown. When grilling out at family barbecues and tailgating at local sporting events, hand-cut steaks and marinated meats were always first on the shopping list for any New England event. After establishing roots in Florida it became obvious that the area was lacking a quality, neighborhood butcher. Dave and Eric partnered with Greg Snyder, an innovative food service and hospitality industry professional with a passion for quality. Greg is the store’s managing partner and responsible for daily operations. The dream to bring this business concept to sunny Florida was born, and we’ve been working hard to make it happen. We are excited to share the quality products and services of Southern Steer Butcher with the Pinellas County community.
