Teen Challenge Southeast Region-Fort Myers, FL

Teen Challenge is the oldest, largest and most successful program of its kind in the world. Established in 1958 by David Wilkerson, Teen Challenge has grown to more than 170 centers in the United States and 250 centers world-wide. Our center in Southwest Florida is a residential program with a minimum of 12 months commitment required of the student. During their stay here, they will experience (some for the first time in their lives) a strict schedule, personal structure, accountability to authority, individual mentoring relationships, and one-on-one counseling. They will also participate in Biblically-based Life Skills Training classes along with supervised work details which enable them to learn new patterns of thinking and behavior in personal relationships. Through the journey, they will come to learn to truly depend upon God, developing a personal relationship with Him, which is the only thing which can truly change one's heart.
