What is Sozo?

Sozo is a Greek word meaning “to save, to make well or whole”. Sozo is used 110 times in the New Testament. It is translated in the New Testament as, “saved, healed and delivered”. Sozo contains the whole person, spirit, soul and body, being made whole.

Examples of New Testament verses that describe the three aspects of “Sozo” are:

SALVATION – That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved (Sozo). Romans 10:9

HEALING – But Jesus turning and seeing her daughter said, “Daughter, take courage, your faith has made you well” (Sozo), and at once the woman was made well (Sozo). Matthew 9:22

DELIVERANCE – And those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well (Sozo). Luke 8:36

The Sozo ministry is a unique inner-healing and deliverance ministry aimed at discovering those things which hinder the believer’s personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. With a healed connection you are able to walk in and fulfill the destiny to which you have been called.

The Sozo team will sit down with you and with the help of the Holy Spirit walk you through the process of freedom and wholeness. Allow 2 hours for your Sozo. Every Sozo is uniquely different but through Spirit-led ministry, the goal of a session is to help you achieve breakthrough and healing in areas where there has been difficult challenges for a long time.

Appointments for personal ministry are available every month on the 1st Saturday morning, 10am and on 3rd Thursday evening, 7pm .

The sessions are held at Church On The Sound, 335 Oxhead Road, Stony Brook NY.

On the day of your Sozo session, please come in a few minutes early to fill out an application and release form. You can sit in the sanctuary until someone comes for you.

The Sozo ministry is welcomes donations which can be given on day of your appointment.
Prayerfully prepare yourself prior to your personal Sozo ministry time.
