The current director, Elizabeth Quintero, immigrated to the United States in 1991. She is a native Spanish speaker with a passion for the language. Her interest and love for the Spanish language motivated her to specialize in the field and concentrate on developing the most effective way to teach it. Elizabeth has shared her enthusiasm and her Spanish language expertise for two decades. She is continuously looking for new approaches to bring innovative insights into Spanish culture.
Elizabeth has provided translation services for the American Red Cross, instantaneous interpretation for public events, and served as an interpreter for immigration courts. In 2008, she gave a lecture for the Environmental Protection Agency about the growing importance of the Spanish language in Philadelphia.
