About Spark
Here at Spark, we are a family and when you join our team you become a part of this family. This relationship goes well beyond just lifting weights. Our success is based on your success. Seeing you perform and improve is what drives us to do what we do. The number one goal of Spark is injury prevention. This means our plans are not just about getting you in shape; we work with technique and consciously develop our programs to prevent injuries.

Our Mission
Whether you want to be able to dead lift a mountain, get faster and quicker than you’ve ever been before, or finally make that New Year’s resolution to drop some weight a reality, we have you covered. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry; we are not the typical gym where you may seem to get lost in the sea of machinery as people stare at you. As stated before, we are a family and we strive to make sure you feel welcome in our gym. Even if you’re taking a group class, we make sure to give you one-on-one guidance. Beginners
Do you occasionally get on a treadmill or elliptical, but you’ve never actually lifted weights before? Don’t worry, we all start somewhere; you’re not going to be thrown to the wolves. We will ease you into our programs, and before you know it you will be lifting numbers you never believed you could.

Kids
It has been proven that including lifting activities in a child’s life greatly increases the child’s chances of advancing in sports. By developing strength and a solid core foundation it will greatly increase their likelihood of making advanced teams such as high school, college, and even professional. We offer specific sport training for athletes to increase quickness, flexibility, jumping ability, and strength to give them the advantage they need to succeed. Children’s bodies can change a lot while they’re growing; not only is this a peak time to give them a solid foundation that will be with them their entire lives but it is also peak time for children to lose some of their abilities without adequate training. For example, it’s not uncommon for children to lose speed when they hit a growth spurt, but we can help get them that speed back!

Athletes
Are you looking to gain the edge? What if you can cut your 40 down, or maybe get a little bit more on your vertical? This is where we come in: we provide sport specific and individual training to help get you that edge.

Olympic Weightlifters
Looking to compete? We are the first and only gym in Stokes County to offer Olympic weight lifting classes. Weightlifting is one of the most challenging sports to master. It’s not just about moving heavy weight; it’s about technique and form. Nailing that perfect motion to lock in your Clean and Jerk is the difference between you setting PR’s and being stuck at the same weight for weeks. Come on in and see us to get the best coaching around, helping you achieve your highest potential and challenge others at meets.

Powerlifters
Looking to increase your strength? We offer specific power lifting classes to get you to your max. We do a lot more than just tell you to go move weight, we work with you on form and technique so that you get the most out of every lift and stay safe doing it.
