Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr. Nermin Massoud officially joined our team September 9, 2010 as a relief vet while our primary veterinarians were on vacation. Prior to that, she donated her time as a volunteer for the SPCA, spaying and neutering our shelter friends.
Dr. Massoud received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1995 from Alexandria University in Egypt. Relocating to the United States in 2000, she and her husband decided to start a family. She continued her education and received her DVM in the United States in 2007 from Tuskegee University of Alabama.
Dr. Massoud performs spays and neuters for the SPCA as well as seeing clients for wellness exams, treatments, diagnostics and routine care on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Dr. Massoud takes great pride in her position and profession and enjoys nothing more than caring for the pets of Brevard County. Her primary experience and interest is in the care of canine and feline family members.
On a personal level, she enjoys swimming, reading, spending time with her family and all types of sports.
