The North Carolina Doll, Toy and Miniature Museum is now open at 108 4th Street in Spencer, just steps from the North Carolina Transportation Museum. Featured exhibits through September are: What Is A Doll?, Gene and Tonner Fashion Dolls, Black Dolls From The Early 20th Century To The 21st Century, Miss Row Ann, Summer Brides, Antique China Heads, Pinocchio, and John Deere. Permanent exhibits include a massive train set with carefully assembled towns and rural scenery and an amazing collection of scale-model, die-cast tractor trailers.
