In 2003, we launched an online store called Funky Utopia selling the handmade work of talented artists and crafters from all over the country. In 2008, we opened a teeny-tiny brick & mortar store in a creative live/work neighborhood of Bradenton, Florida called the Village of the Arts. Sadly, we closed Funky Utopia in 2010 due to the economic recession. Florida was a hard-hit area during the recession and we felt it!

Fast forward to present.... After spending the past 6 1/2 years, pushing paper in the property insurance industry, I decided to follow my dreams and launch Spider Lily Finery, LLC. Spider Lily Finery is located in Sarasota, Florida, just a few short miles from the gorgeous Siesta Key and Lido Key beaches.

With Spider Lily Finery, our goal is similar to that of our Funky Utopia days... offer high quality handcrafted goods from talented artists and makers. In the Spider Lily Finery store we feature natural and organic bath & body products and candles, handmade clothing, jewelry and accessories. We also have an impressive vinyl record collection courtesy of my father, who has been collecting vinyl (and all forms of media) all of his life.

Spider Lily Finery is located at 2135 Siesta Drive, a few doors down from the Baker & Wife restaurant, across the street from the Westfield Siesta Key Mall.
