Spirit and in Truth Missions

Spirit and in Truth Missions is a small congregation of believers in Jesus Christ who want to serve Him in Spirit and in Truth. Our main goal is to spread the truth of the Holy Bible, lead people to Christ, and help everyone we can. As of July 2013, and every Saturday since, we have met under the 40 interstate bridge near Broadway Avenue where the majority of the homeless, hurt, and lost of Knoxville, TN are located to pray with them and preach the Gospel of Christ. The physical address is 447 Cooper Street Knoxville, TN 37917. Every Sabbath (Saturday) at 2p.m. we set up tables, free Bibles, Christian reading materials, snacks, bottled waters, coffee, and whatever special items we have at the time. After everything is set out we congregate with the brothers and sisters passing by. The area where we are currently at is a main intersection for those who staying outdoors and in camps, and those going back and forth from the rescue mission and other churches in the area. The majority of those we minister to face problems like addiction, alcoholism, mental illness, lack of family, dissabilites, homelessness and many other things. To feed the hungry, our ministry has a small charcoal grill, and we purchase beef, turkey, and chicken hot dogs and buns and usually serve far over one hundred hot dogs, and there are always random needs from nonperishable foods, to clothing, to camping supplies, and many other things. Our prayer is to be a Blessing to all of those who honestly need help. It does not matter whoever or whatever it is, if we are in the position to help a person in need, we will do it. In spreading the Gospel of The LORD Jesus Christ, our main focus is to Love Jesus and Love our brothers and sisters as we Love our-self. We want to create an environment where it is normal to show the Love of God to everyone around us, and encourage everyone that Jesus Christ is coming back soon. The goal we are focused on now is attaining a building to worship in, and to store food, clothing, and blankets. Being in the area where the homeless can get to on foot is key. Any building will do, and we can build if need be.

What we believe --- We believe the entire Holy Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the absolute Truth. We believe there is no difference between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We believe in the Ten Commandments and observe the Seventh day Sabbath from Friday sundown until Saturday sundown. We believe only the Blood of Jesus Christ can save and give one Eternal Life. We believe that the Bible is the Law of Love and we try our best to live by it. The Holy Bible is the only Truth we have, nothing more, nothing less.
