Designed by golf course architect Tom Winton, Sprain Lake is characterized by small greens, rolling terrain and a number of highly challenging holes, with an abundance of water hazards and difficult shots. Because of its long and narrow layout, Sprain Lake offers a mostly linear, back-and-forth style of play.
The newly renovated third hole is now in play; other recent improvements include the renovation and expansion of all 18 tees and upgrades to the 10th and 13th greens.
