Springvale Township is a township in Isanti County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,384 at the 2000 census.GeographyAccording to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.3 square miles (91.5 km²), of which 34.8 square miles (90.3 km²) of it is land and 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²) of it (1.36%) is water.DemographicsAs of the census of 2000, there were 1,384 people, 475 households, and 388 families residing in the township. The population density was 39.7 people per square mile (15.3/km²). There were 488 housing units at an average density of 14.0/sq mi (5.4/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.83% White, 0.22% African American, 0.72% Asian, 0.22% from other races, and 1.01% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.01% of the population.There were 475 households out of which 37.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.3% were non-families. 13.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.90 and the average family size was 3.19.
