SPUN Clay Arts Studio & Gallery

Local artists April Sanders and Jennifer English are the masterminds behind SPUN, a clay arts studio and gallery. For those who don’t care for the ‘Paint-By-Numbers’ pottery studios, they envision Spun to be a place where you can meet up with old friends, make new friends, or put on your headphones, zone out, and let your imagination run wild!
Come sculpt a killer ashtray for your mom, or create a work of art and sell it in the Spun Gallery!

Sustainability and community involvement are of importance too.
Pottery/sculpture is a feasible art form, able to recycle waste back into usable clay or other materials needed to keep creating. Tacoma's art scene is growing fast, opening the doors for local artists' events and gatherings are some of the ways Spun will get involved. Art at Work month, Art Bus studio tours, and other offerings from the Tacoma Arts Commission will also connect Spun to the community.
