Sri Annapoorna Bhavan

Sri Annapoorna Bhavan is the result of years of discussion and research on south Indian vegetarian food. Our team has put its best effort to learn authentic recipes from all four southern states (actually 5 now including Telangana), sourced information and ingredients from back home. Our basic inspiration was temple food; we know deep in our hearts we all south Indians love the traditional prasadam served at our native places.
Our Journey started with listing down the most favorite items for South Indian people (a survey taken around New Jersey area) and then jotting down the menu. We then started to reach out to famous cooks in India and also few temple managements to gather the information on authentic way of making each and every menu item. We left no stone unturned in our research and today we are here with full of excitement to offer mouthwatering vegetarian delights from South India. We have tried an array of dishes that will represent the strong influence of various communities on the cuisine of the south.
