More about SSRM Designs & Photography

I'm a licensed portrait & event photographer & a graphic designer located in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. I attended our local college and graduated with an early childhood degree. I took a graphic design job straight out of college, having been involved in the arts from a very young age with my mom and grandma, graphics was a perfect fit! I was introduced to photography in my first year of 4-H and it quickly became a hobby. I decided to take a leap and I am now running my own graphic design and photography business! Two wonderful medias that allow me to create wonderful memories for so many!

I love being a photographer and graphic designer. It allows me to make a session all about you or a logo specific to your business. I like to tell a story through your photographs and make whatever makes you special shine through! I love walking down the street and seeing a t-shirt design that I did for a camp or vehicle graphics I did for a business!

Art is such a wonderful media, the opportunities creativity are endless! I would love to sit down with you and plan your photography session or graphic design! Getting in touch with me is easy, you can email me or message via Facebook! I look forward to hearing from you!

Why hire a professional photographer?
To get the best quality photos possible! You are hiring someone who is a skilled photographer and photographs for a living. They have experience and the right equipment to produce your high quality photos. Why trust your life's most precious moments to anyone else?!
It is true that the digital age has made it very easy for the public to use point and shoot or generic DSLR cameras, but these models have nothing on the professional grade DSLR cameras that photographers use. Professional photographers invest large percentages of their money into equipment such as computers, editing programs, camera accessories, etc.
When hiring a professional photographer you are hiring them because they know and can see just by looking at a setting what will make the most artistic, eye catching, and individually inspiring photo! Once the photo shoot is finished it is on to post production time of perfecting lighting, colors, styles, and individuality!

What are you paying your professional photographer for?
You are paying for their skill and time, the photo shoot and processing time, prints and unique products, and on occasion print release rights.

"Artistic Style: On its' own behalf, and on behalf of the subject: CLIENT acknowledges that the CLIENT is familiar with the PHOTOGRAPHER’S portfolio and is requesting Services with knowledge of the PHOTOGRAPHER’S Style; that PHOTOGRAPHER’S work is constantly evolving; that PHOTOGRAPHER’S services are of unique and artistic nature; that the photos may be different from photographs taken by PHOTOGRAPHER in the past; and that in creating the photos, the PHOTOGRAPHER shall use his personal artistic judgment to create images consistent with his personal vision of the Event, which vision may be different from the Client’s and/or the Subject’s vision of the Event. Accordingly, Client acknowledges that the photos shall not be subject to rejection on basis of taste or esthetic criteria."

Who owns the digital negatives and the rights to the images?
According to U.S. Copyright Law, the photographer is the copyright owner for the digital and/or film negatives of all and every image the photographer has shot. Please remember that when you hire a professional photographer, you are purchasing their professional services of art, time, creativity, and talent to bring everything together.
