St. Andrew Church

St. Andrew Church is a Faith Community located on West 7th and Raspberry Streets, founded in 1871 by Portuguese fisherman who sought the help and patronage of St. Andrew, the patron of their trade. For 142 years, St. Andrew has been a community of faith and a light in the darkness for countless families in the lower west side of Erie. Through the leadership of diligent and caring priests, many vocations to the priesthood and religious life have come from this awesome parish.
