St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church

We welcome you to St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church,
the second oldest parish on Florida’s west coast.

As a Parish Community, we strive to bring the love and mercy of our living God to all people. We offer the Spirit of welcome and hospitality that comes from St. Benedict with the love of Creation that comes from St. Francis to all those who seek the living God, who calls us and heals us of all that is broken within us.

We are a parish with a great history, but also a great future, founded by Judge Edmund Dunne as a Catholic colony, and with strong links to:
The Benedictine Monks of St Leo Abbey who have served this parish and community tirelessly for many years.

The Benedictine Sisters of Holy Name Monastery that taught in our school for 129 years.

Saint Leo University, Florida’s first Catholic college, that offers higher education to our surrounding area and beyond.

And last The Franciscan Sisters of St. Elizabeth of Hungry who are now the custodians of our heritage of Catholic Education, taking it forward to a new generation of parishioners, all of whom call St Anthony home.
