St. Benedict's Church

St. Benedict's Chapel is a Roman Catholic parish under the auspices of the Diocese of Richmond staffed by priests from the order of The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter. Here we offer Holy Mass in the Extraordinary Form (sometimes called Tridentine Mass) in accordance with Pope Benedict XVI moto proprio and permission from the Bishop of the Diocese of Richmond. The parish has a dynamic sacramental, devotional, and communal life, with two masses every day, Wednesday adoration and Parish Holy Hour, Confessions 30 minutes before every Mass, including daily Masses. Social activities are varried and numerous, including Sunday Socials, St. Joseph's Guild (Men's club), St. Anne's Guild (women's club), sewing club, Knights of the Alter (alterboys), Little Flowers (girls club), soup kitchen, and numerous other activities.

All are welcome to attend, whether you have a love for the Old Mass, you are just looking for a convenient Mass time, or you are just curious. If the Latin Mass is new to you, in each pew there are red missals that guild you through the Mass, with the Latin on one side and the English translation on the other.

Mass Schedule
Sunday: 8am (Low Mass), 1030 (High/Sung Mass)
Monday-Thursday: 630am and 8am Low Mass
Friday: 7am and 7pm
Saturday: 730am and 9am

Confessions: half an hour before each Mass and Wednesday 7pm-8pm.

Adoration: Wednesday 9am-7pm,

Benediction:
Wednesday Parish Holy Hour 7pm.
First Friday after the 7pm Mass
First Saturday after the 9am Mass
