St. Cornelius Catholic School

St. Cornelius is a Catholic elementary and middle school. We believe in the dignity of every child, instilling in each a positive self-image, respect for one another and a belief in Christian values. The teachers and staff use best teaching practices and Christian principles to facilitate the development and growth of critical thinking, problem solving and self motivational skills in all students to encourage them to be contributing members of our society.

Our integrated curriculum focuses on fundamental 21st century skills in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th Grades for students to be career and college ready. Our core curriculum consists of Religion, Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science with technology integrated in all areas. In addition we offer Music, choir, Physical Education, and Art enrichment courses to nurture the development of the whole child.

Our elementary grades (TK through 5) are in self contained classrooms. The Middle School programs (6, 7 and 8) rotate teachers throughout the day. We offer Algebra along with a challenging core curriculum of Science, Social Studies and English. We take special pride in the values based on Religious Studies program that we offer.

We have a full day Transitional and Kindergarten programs. We have three distinct playground areas for the students to play. Our gym with its beautiful oak floor is the best in the area.
