St. James Episcopal Day School

St. James Episcopal Day School serves children 6 weeks to 5 years. These years, from birth to five, are recognized as critical in fostering lifelong learning and in supporting children capable of mastering language, literacy and relationships. Our curriculum reflects the needs of whole child: social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual. We teach to both the typical developmental level of each age group and to the individual developmental level of each child. We believe that development is influenced by relationships between home and school and beliefs about education within our community. We strive to reflect the diversity of our students by valuing differences of language, beliefs, and culture within our classrooms and inviting our community to share resources.
