St. John’s After School Program (SJASP), seeks to provide local 5th - 8th grade students with a safe and supportive place to go when school is not in session. In direct response to the heroin and opioid crisis in our community, we strive to provide students with a comprehensive circle of care that meets their academic, emotional, and physical needs. This program will be hosted in St. John's Parish Hall. Fr. Tim Rogers is the director assisted by volunteers from the parish as well as the local community. We are seeking interns/mentors from upperclassmen at Holbrook High School as well as from area colleges. All volunteers will be screened by the director and CORI / SORI checked. SJASP although being hosted at St. John’s it will not be a religious based program. All are welcome regardless of creed, ability, sexual orientation or color.
