The St. John’s Family Center was established in 1996. The Family Center's mission to serve ‘at risk’ families of Greater Bridgeport, offering Parenting classes, mother/toddler playgroups, a computer lab for children, ESOL classes, summer programs, support groups, emergency food and clothing, and case management. The Food Pantry distributes groceries on second and fourth Saturday of each month to qualifying families. The Clothes Closet offers new and slightly used clothing at no cost in addition to small furniture, bookcases, televisions, microwaves, and much more to assist families in our neighborhood! Services are also available to assist with utility and rent bills. All services of the Family Center are free of charge.
