An historic church in Woodland, CA, St. John's United Church of Christ was founded by German immigrants as St. John's Evangelical Church in 1891. In 1957, when the Evangelical and Reformed Church merged with the Congregational and Christian Church to for the UCC, St. John's took its present name and affiliation. With a long history of service to the community and making a space for the meaningful spiritual expression of its members, St. John's continues to pursue a life of faithfulness to the call of Christ in a changing world. With God's help through the Holy Spirit, we are the UCC arm of Christ's body in Woodland, CA.
