St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church

St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church is a small church in Highlands, Tx that was founded in 1946. We currently have less than 300 families in our parish, and we would love to increase this number and give local residents a place to be close to God in a community of Catholic Christians. The church is currently led by Fr Maynard Parangan (Father Maynard), who came to the parish in July of 2011. Father Maynard was born in the Philippines and speaks 6 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES. He entered the priesthood late in life, but that doesn't change his strength as a priest. He was formerly a Chemical Engineer, but left that lucrative career to follow his call from God to the priesthood. In his short time here, he has already captured that hearts of many with his beautiful homilies and apt to singing through mass, and he will surely continue to gain the love and following of this parish.
