St. Mark Catholic Church

The story of St. Mark began late Nov. 1999. Bishop Richard Hanifen wanted to bring a new parish to Highlands Ranch, with the help of a Father Larry Solan and twelve others the planning for St. Mark began. With Fr. Larry's assistance roughly 3000 names were added to the churchs database...Jump forward almost 100 days after the first planning session letters were sent out for the first official mass to take place April 16, 2000. Time flew by and April 16th was here, that day a large crowd gathered in front of ThunderRidge High School. St. Mark has bloomed into the wonderful parish that we all know and love, however we are still changing (for the better), growing constantly and adjusting ourselves for the good of our parishioners and the community.
