St. Mark Lutheran Church

We, the church family of St Mark Lutheran Church, are a Bible-believing, Christ-centered, friendly and loving congregation. We endeavor to share with others our personal story about God’s love for us all through the truth of His son, Jesus the Savior. We believe in the transforming power of the Word of God, and that it is sufficient for every need of this life and the promise of eternity. Founded in 1962, we are a caring community of 900 children, teen, adult and senior members, affiliated with the 2.7 million member Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

St Mark Lutheran Church is called to be a caring and growing family of discipled believers who actively and intentionally share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make known God’s redeeming love to the members, neighborhood, community, nation and world.

Our goal is connect people with God’s Word and the Sacraments so that He may develop them into fully functioning followers of Jesus Christ; and to nurture, care for and lead to maturity the body of Christ.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God without error or contradiction. Three principles are foundational to our beliefs: Scripture, Grace and Faith.

The Scripture is the only source of knowledge about God and His will for us.

Grace means that as human beings we cannot earn God’s love, forgiveness or everlasting life. It is all a gift of His love.

Only by Faith in Jesus Christ - His divinity, His perfect life, and His redemptive act - do we receive forgiveness. Through faith in Him we come into a relationship of reconciliation & peace with God.
