St. Paul’s was officially recognized as a mission in the Diocese of Texas on October 2, 1935, after beginning as a small group in 1934.
The current location of the church was given to the then mission in 1941 by Mr. Roy Laird. A small house was remodeled as a chapel and occupied by congregation in October 1941.
The present-day church building was completed in 1951 and the first service was held on Easter Sunday that year. In January, 1954 the mission became a parish.
The Parish Hall was dedicated on All Saints Day, 2000.
Through the years St. Paul’s has been served by twenty different priests. The Rev. Deborah Daigle is our twenty-first priest.
