St. William Tuesday Morning Mens Group

We arrive between 6:00am and 6:30am. During that time we hang out in the Vercelli open area, drink coffee; catch up on families, sports, politics, jobs, etc. At 6:30 we convene to one of the rooms in the Vercelli House where we read the readings and Gospel for the upcoming week and discuss them amongst ourselves. Four of the guys are our leaders – each taking a week of the month. They will usually read ahead of time and do some research into the ‘Who’s, What’s and Where’s’ of that weeks readings. Then they simply guide the conversation. But frankly – we are like a bunch of Chatty Cathy’s in that we can go pretty long without coming up for air. Nonetheless, if the conversation wanes, the leader knows how to pick it back up.
