Stanley's Regal Rotties

American or German, that is a hard question to answer. Different people have different beliefs on this. Some say only if they are born in Germany then they are German Rotties. Some people believe if they follow the ADRK standards, then that makes them German. Others say that it is the characteristics of the dog such as a wide head with a shorter nose, that makes the German.

I can give you all the information that I have about my dogs and you can be the judge of the answer to this question.

My AKC Dogs
JJ- he is on the taller side with a big wide head and a shorter nose. He has the darker mahogany color. His ancestors come from Yugoslavia.
Reba- she is on the shorter side with a narrower head and a slightly longer nose. She is mahogany color. Her grandpa was imported from Yugoslavia.
Sammie Jo- she is on the shorter side with a medium length nose. She is mahogany color.
Magnolia Jane- she is the daughter of Reba and JJ. She is mahogany color. She is still growing so I don't know how big she will be.

My CKC Dogs

Davis- He is tall with a big wide head with a shorter nose. he is more of the tan color. His mom was AKC and his dad was CKC.
Harley- She is big for a female. she has a a medium size head with a longer nose. She is the brown color.
