Star Transportation was founded in 1980, and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Our management team is extremely progressive and maintains an open communication environment between directors, fleet managers, drivers and other support personnel. There is a full service maintenance facility located at our Nashville, Tennessee Headquarters. Star also has several additional terminals and drop yards located throughout the eastern half of the United States. Nationwide maintenance support is available 24/7 throughout our system. Preventive maintenance is essential to keeping our trucks on the road to ensure on-time delivery.

Our fleet consists entirely of conventional Freightliner tractors. With an average fleet age of just 2 years old, our equipment is second to none. Our drivers have assigned trucks.
