STATE Grill and Bar is a modern restaurant with Art-Deco décor, located on the ground floor of the Empire State Building. STATE serves breakfast lunch and dinner (see hours). Our chefs draw inspiration from the Empire State itself, its bounty of market ingredients and the farmers and producers who provide for the world’s most iconic metropolis. Our menus change seasonally, we source locally whenever possible and every ingredient we use is of the highest quality standard. Our meats are pasture-raised, our chicken is free-range and all our seafood is sourced using sustainable methods. Popular with Empire State Building tenants and neighbors, STATE is also home to one of Midtown's best happy hours.
