Staten Island Arts wants to see the arts community on Staten Island grow! We're here to help fund art projects, to give technical assistance, and to create a stronger, more united arts community by providing:
• Grant & Award Programs for individual artists, artist collaborations, folk arts, organizations and schools.
• Free One-on-One Technical Assistance and Professional Development Workshops designed to help artists, artist educators and organizations grow in their disciplines and in their ability to provide art services to the community.
• Arts-in-Education support and direct programs to schools pre-K through 12. Support includes re-grants and a Staten Island Teaching Artist Institute that offers training for new and experienced teaching artists.
• Folk Life field work, technical assistance, and public programming with heritage bearers from longstanding and new immigrant communities on Staten Island.
• Networking, Artist Registry and Artist Opportunities for Staten Island artists and arts organizations.
• Weekly Events E-mail Blasts that offer a comprehensive calendar listing of Staten Island cultural activities.
• Advocacy for artists, arts organizations, and cultural workers on the city, state, and national level
