Statesboro House of Prayer

We are in an unprecedented time in history in which we need the hand of God to touch our families, our community, our nation and our world like never before. Jesus said in Luke 19:46 that His house should be a HOUSE OF PRAYER, and that is precisely what we are going to do. Pray.

Every Wednesday in the youth room by the office entrance we will have people in that room praying, worshiping, reading scripture and waiting before the Lord continually from 6 am until 7 pm every Wednesday, until God leads differently. We will then have our mid-week service with worship, prayer and ministry time; followed by a prayer-walk at 9 pm for those that wish to go out.

What can you do? Pray! I am asking you to pray with us at the church. You can:
- Swing by for prayer on your way to work.
- Stop by for a while on your way home from work.
- Come at lunchtime on Wednesday and pray. Fast if you can, bring lunch if you can't.
- Arrive early for mid-week service and intercede for a while.
- Have your quiet time and Bible reading at church on Wednesday.
- Bring your guitar and worship Jesus
- Stay-at-home moms, retired people can pray as their schedule allows.
- Mention it to your praying friends who are also welcome to pray.

There is a 16-hour window in which everyone can participate. What is most important is that we lift up the name of the Lord and ask Him to heal our land. One phrase that keeps coming up in our prayers is that when we "each do a little, we will do a lot." Even if you can only come and pray for a few minutes, please do.

As a church we invite you to join in this "House of Prayer" season. From our knees we can call on heaven and shake the earth.
