Stefan The Toyota Guy

When people ask me where I am from, they unknowingly ask a loaded question. This is the short answer: I grew up in the foothills of Mt. Hood, Oregon. When I wasn’t riding my bike or snowboarding, I was wrestling my two brothers. My teen years were spent here in Cedar Rapids. This is where I developed my interest in skateboarding and listening to music. At the age of 19 I moved to Wyoming to attend a small Bible College. After graduating, I stayed in Wyoming and worked as a Youth Pastor. There I met my beautiful bride and love of my life, Catrina. I then moved to Los Angeles to continue my education and work toward my Master’s. In October of 2013 I proposed to Catrina, and on May 31st we were married. We stayed in LA for the first year of our marriage and are now back to my home town!

My Life

On those days I am not working, I enjoy playing my guitar, watching all kinds of movies, and I am always up for a good game of disc golf. My preferred forms of exercise are skateboarding or mountain biking through any trail I can find. Catrina and I make sure we take advantage of our days off together by experiencing our new hometown. We love finding new restaurants, or just hopping on our bikes to see where we end up. We are very involved at Stonebridge Church, so if you try to contact me on Sunday morning, I'll call you back after church.

My Work

When I decided to take time off from working in churches, I found a dealership in LA I could morally stand beside. After a year, Catrina and I decided to move back to my home town of Cedar Rapids. Once we got to Iowa, I chose to stay in the car industry. After looking into every dealership in the area, I landed at Cedar Rapids Toyota. This choice was heavely influenced by the plethora of positive online reviews, but also by talking with management and employees alike. I found a dealership that placed a high value on doing the right thing in every situation. Cedar Rapids Toyota was an easy choice.
