STEM School and Academy Secular Student Alliance

The STEM SSA is a newly founded organization. We are dedicated to:

1. fostering safe, welcoming, and supportive spaces for secular students on campus

2. Promoting skepticism, questioning of faith, innovative thinking, and the questioning of all personal and cultural beliefs using the tools of evidence and reason

3. Embracing human and civil rights, justice, and other types of philosophies informed by humanism

4. Working with other groups who share our values

5. Organizing activities, such as forums for discussion, guest speakers, and outreach that educate STEM students and the surrounding community

6. advocating for the separation of church and state

Any STEM student, faculty, staff and community member is allowed to become a member of the STEM SSA. However, only students at STEM will be allowed to be voting members, To join, contact us through any of our social media.

As of next school year we will hopefully be having meetings once a week, dates are TBD.

We do not censor any criticism and are ready to engage in a RESPECTFUL discussion with anyone. However, harassment is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
