Our Family is dedicated to making Stephentown Trading Post an outlet for local artists and farmers so they can sell their merchandise. Our market section provides a convenient place to shop for essentials like butter or flour while our re-sale / consignment shop is the perfect place to get a gift or something special to help furnish your home. Here you can purchase quality used items at a fair price and sell your own items to make a little extra cash while extending the life-cycle of quality merchandise.

We will continue to work hard in order to create an old fashioned trading post – feel that used to be customary generations ago. Of course, it will no longer be "Emily's", as many locals remember it - although Emily's picture will still hang there.

That being said, we intend to maintain an authentic atmosphere while preserving the history of the old Stephentown Hotel as much as possible. Only mandatory alterations will be made.
