Stevens County Emergency Services is a volunteer program that is charged with protecting approximately 5800 residents and 727 square miles of Stevens County, Kansas.
The Emergency Services consists of Emergency Management, EMS, and Fire/Rescue.
Emergency Management is based out of Hugoton and currently has one full time Emergency Manager.
Emergency Medical Services consists of 2 stations, one located in Hugoton with 2 ambulance units and one located in Moscow with 1 ambulance unit.
The volunteer Fire Department consists of 2 fire stations, one located in Hugoton with 7 fire units and one located in Moscow with 5 fire units. There are currently approximately 19 firefighter volunteers with 3 officers in Hugoton and 7 firefighter volunteers with 1 officer in Moscow.
