Stevie Ray Vinyl

I have a love and even some may say passion for vinyl records. This started when I was 16 years old. I remember getting my paycheck and going down to the local record store. I would spend half of the day there listening to music, looking at records and talking to the employees and customers. After I had picked out the perfect record I would sit at home study and enjoy the artwork, look for subliminal messages, read all the musicians names, read the linear notes, and play the music over and over. I would listen to every single instrument. All my cares would disappear. I now am on a quest to help preserve the history and the art of vinyl. I am spending my weekends searching for unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused records. It is my passion to find loving homes for these treasures. I have started an adoption agency for these records. For the last 2 years I have been working steadily with the help of my wife Suzi and friend Kirk Swinney to make these available to the world. Each record has to be cleaned, graded, researched and manually listed. It is grueling work but it must be done. It is my goal to always have available 100,000 records for adoption at all times.
