Stitched by JessaLu

With the first fabric order I placed in July 2008, I began Stitched by JessaLu. I was prodded by the suggestion of some friends who loved the box bags I was giving out as gifts. Thankfully they weren't lying when they said everyone would love them - and I'm still super happy whenever I make a sale. ;o)

I make all of my Stitched goods using a model 15-91 Singer sewing machine that was manufactured in 1937 (I actually own 4 of this model now - 2 are for parts only). I consider the old girl a partner in this endeavor and she gets regular 'spa days' with lots of oil!

I put lots of time and love into my bags, they may not have 'finished' edges on the inside and I may not use a serger, but they will hold up to quite a bit of use - I have customers who purchased a bag when I began and those bags are still going strong!
