Stockdick Junior High

Stockdick Junior High is named in honor of the Stockdick family who has lived in Katy for 121 years. The family built two schools before Katy ISD was established. One of the schools was built at Stockdick Farm. Stockdick School Road was named after the family.
The family also has a long tradition in Katy education. They have 1,027 combined years of service in education, 253 in Katy ISD, 43 years in administration and 42 years serving on Katy school boards..
Stockdick Junior High School is designed for 1,400 students and will open for the start of the 2017 school year. It will be located within the Ventana Lakes subdivision at 4777 Peek Road.
