Hello there. You probably want to know who I am? Well first I'm a christian woman. Who loves her Lord. Secondly I'm a wife to an amazing husband named Ted and a mother to two great kids. Abigail and Samuel. I get great support from them in where ever life takes me. I love them very much. Here is a little about me. Well I'm someone who is a little corky, and doesn't take life to serious. I love to laugh, and try to live everyday to the fullest. You just never know what tomorrow might bring. That is one of many reasons why I got into photography. I love to capture moments before they are gone. I have always loved photography, and have been blessed to take photos for special occasion for family. By doing so I started saying "Hey Im not to bad at this". I started getting a passion for it mostly in the last few years. I'm someone that loves people. I love helping people. I got my cosmetology licence about ten years ago. Worked at Silver Shears for almost that long. Got to know some great people. I miss them very much. After I had my second child Samuel in November we decided that i would stay home. We didnt want our children in daycare. Which is a personal decision. Now I can totally see both sides of the argument. No regrets from this mamma. I love my kids. I love being home with them.This brings me back to why photography. Well because I can do both I can be a mom that works some and doesn't have to do daycare. Also I can pursue this adventure. Just to be clear though I will have family watch my children when I'm working. I'm a professional. I wouldn't bring the kids along to a shoot. :)With photography I have a very out of the box way of thinking. I like the typical photographs people usually get, but I'm someone that with always try doing them a little different. I love uniqueness.I especially like to photograph children. There is just something so precious about catching a child's smiling face. Also love the thought of putting a baby in a pot or a bucket. I mean come on you just cant get any more adorable than that. I bought my own professional canon camera a little while ago and I'm in love. I have caught some great moments with Abby and Sammy already. I want to start with all baby photography meaning baby announcements, maternity, newborns, and children. Then eventually grow into all photography. I have been taking classes in Portland at Hunts photography. Also I'm blessed to have a professional photographer in my family and I have been training with her as well. This has always been a passion of mine and now its a reality, and Storybook Photography has been born. With Gods blessing there will be great things to come. Looking forward to working with you.
