Stowe - Mad River Dance Academy

Stowe & Mad River Dance Academy is a one of a kind school that has earned the reputation as one of the most versatile dance studios in Vermont. The studio is highly regarded by the local dance community and educators.

SDA has been training dancers for over 20 years. Not only does the studio provide the dancers with a professional faculty, but also a structured and organized curriculum, beautiful studios with a friendly and healthy environment, and numerous performance opportunities.

Stowe Dance Academy is the home of the TRIP Dance Company, (a non-profit youth organization). SDA & MRDA also works together with the Albany Berkshire Ballet to put on the annual Flynn Production of The Nutcracker. Stowe Dance Academy & Mad River Dance Academy culminates it’s year with a full length ballet production as well as a recital.

MAD RIVER DANCE ACADEMY is our testament to bringing dance throughout the Vermont area. Having a local following in the Waitsfield area and teaching in the area for the past 3 years, SDA wanted to make professional dance instruction easily available to the immediate and surrounding Mad River Valley area. MRDA has opened its doors officially on Main Street in Waitsfield. We are a new studio, being supported by over 20 years of experience. The excitement and committment to MRDA enables the world of dance to emerge in the Waitsfield area.
