Straight Grain Studio - A Sewing Cafe

Straight Grain Studio is a bright, spacious studio that offers services such as alterations, classes, a patternmaking table, four Bernina sewing machines to rent in store by the hour, a serger, a coverstitch machine, and the opportunity to meet with like-minded sewers and crafters. It is $7.50/hour to rent a machine, $15/hour to rent a machine with help, and $35/hour to receive a private lesson with the owner, Tina.

Straight Grain also offers a variety of vintage patterns, fabrics, buttons, trims, and jewelry to shop from.

Classes include patternmaking, draping and fitting, beginner and advanced sewing projects, and craft workshops such as felting, crocheting, and even tassel making.
