Hi! Welcome to Strand Studios! My name is Rachel Strand, and I'd like to tell you what we're up to here. I'm a private music instructor specializing in piano, violin/fiddle, guitar, and voice coaching. I have over 10 years of experience working with people of all ages and love, love, LOVE what I do. I currently also work in Johnson City, Tennessee with the super-cool folks at Trinity Arts Center. The purpose of this page is two-fold. One, it is to promote my studio in Kingsport, but it is also to connect students with teachers. My ultimate goal is to get people (children, teens, and adults) involved in music. If it's ever been your dream to learn to play an instrument, sing, or just learn more about music theory, I've got you covered. My hours are extremely flexible, with morning slots available at my Kingsport location, and evening slots available at TAC.
