The idea of 11 yr old Geordon Cox during his mothers 4yr battle with endometrial and cervical cancer. Rather than just get mad, Geordon decided to join his mother in her fight and Strikes Against Cancer was born. With help from the local Umpire Association and local select coaches a Youth Baseball Tournament was formed. The City Of McKinney passed a proclamation that the first weekend in May will forever be known as Strikes Against Cancer Week.
