String and Stitch Studio

I am a fiber jewelry artist who dabbles in all kinds of techniques to create unique pieces of jewelry and accessories. Learning to crochet was a natural fit for my love of fiber and string crafting, and seeing the beauty of all the individual threads coming together to form a wearable or useable piece of art was in and of itself, a healing therapy for me, a lifelong survivor of chronic anxiety and depression.

As an adult, I was diagnosed with chronic nerve pain and autoimmune disease, and during my many months of waiting for a diagnosis, I developed a love for making small, useful or comforting items using my crochet and it is my hope that these items will bring a measure of joy and comfort to others in their everyday routines. It is my mission to bring tangible reminders of faith, hope, comfort, and love to those who need it most.

My love for what I do, and my attention to the tiniest detail goes into every piece I create. I am a stickler for the finer points, and I never send work out until it reflects my passion for perfection.
