Strut Performing Arts

Welcome to STRUT Performing Arts! We are extremely excited to have you join our program and look forward to building a long lasting relationship with you and your family. It is our goal to provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment where students will dance under the guidance of caring professionals who will assist each student in succeeding to the best of their ability. At STRUT, students are immersed in dance. We promote growth and a well-rounded dance experience by offering Pre- Dance, Pointe, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Breaking to name just a few. Beyond the offerings of most dance institutions, STRUT inspires our students to further their dance experience and community involvement. We will help prepare them for auditions, collegiate dance programs, stage productions, in becoming dance educators, and in maintaining healthy and active lifestyles. We want our students to succeed and to enhance the community while doing so! We strive to increase support and public awareness of the positive effect dance plays in the community. We hope to create opportunities for dancers and earn public recognition for the beauty of professional dance. This is our mandate.


To achieve these goals, STRUT offers a groundbreaking level of choreography and an outstanding instructional staff with over 25 years of education and experience. S.P.A is not only an educational organization but a venue for dancing at an elevated competitive level as well.



To craft a new competitive edge, join STRUT’s Competitive Dance Teams! Students have the opportunity to execute all of their established talents and sharpen new skills through participation in S.P.A’s competitive dance teams. Like STRUT’s studio classes, STRUT’s competitive dance teams have a long-standing tradition of excellence, having been awarded many National titles, over the past 20 years as well as representing the United States of America at Dance Worlds in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and now for 2015.


Many of our students have ventured on to join extremely successful dance programs, such as: The Sacramento Kings Royal Court Dance Team, University of California Berkeley Dance Team (Berkely, Ca.), California State University Long Beach Dance Team (Long Beach, Ca.), Orange Coast College Dance Team (Costa Mesa, Ca.), Walt Disney Productions, auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance and/or going on to be the founders of their own dance companies, i.e. Ross Dance Company (San Francisco, Ca.), and the top 5 finalist of Bravo’s premier television show, Step It Up and Dance (Hollywood, Ca.), JAGGED a dance team contestant on America’s Best Dance Crew (Los Angeles, Ca.) and countless stage productions such as: White Christmas, Anything Goes, Guys & Dolls and many more Broadway hits!!




**Recently a former STRUT dancer was honored by joining Jennifer Lopez & Shania Twain on tour!!




As a cutting edge dance studio, STRUT takes dance instruction, dance competition and community involvement to new heights. We pride ourselves on being one step ahead of other programs and look forward to our 2013 - 2014 dance curriculums. Welcome to a tremendous new experience!
