Studio 224 is a non-profit artist’s studio space located in the Boerner Mercantile Building in the heart of downtown Port Washington. The studio is home to a community darkroom and printmaking studio, offering a variety of artist in residence programs and an active calendar of workshops and lectures related to a wide variety of visual arts (with emphasis on analog and alternative process photography). Ongoing studio programs include the monthly Photo Book Conversations and the PORTfolio film series.
Studio 224 functions in tandem with Gallery 224 in Port Washington with a shared commitment to creating a place where people come not only to view art but to think about art as a way expressing new ideas and interests in our community.
