"OM" in the ancient Sanskrit language literally means, "That which is sounded out loudly". We think that is the perfect phrase to describe what we do. We record, mix, edit and master whatever music you can dream up and whatever your fingers and vocal cords can produce. With over 20 years of experience in studio session work and playing in innumerable bands and musical situations, as well as partnering with one of the best mastering engineers on Planet Earth, we can do a large variety of professional audio engineering work for your bands or personal songwriting needs.

Ian Ballard, lead engineer and drummer, studied with Jim Riley (Rascall Flatts) and Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa, Allan Holdsworth) and has well over two decades of experience in a huge variety of genres, coupled with extensive experience mixing and engineering in a variety of studios in that time, can produce high quality, groovin' drum tracks for your songs or musical projects. We also can program and produce beats and backing tracks for hip-hop and electronic producers. While we prefer to play the drums, we're more than happy to apply my groove expertise using Ableton and other MIDI-based production software such as Tracktion4/5, Reaper, Reason, Hydrogen, Elastik and BassStation, just to name a few.

We are also taking drum students and have an extensive, adaptable and fun curriculum designed not only to improve overall drum technique, reading ability, chart-making and other technical things but to help establish a strong groove-sense and a musical approach. We employ the Moeller Technique, the Murray Spivack method and other solid methods that can improve any drummer at any age or skill level.

We are building and we will continue to grow to satisfy whatever needs any band or musician desires from catching vibrations with microphones to the final mastering and CD production.
